Mission 001: Kenya Relief Academy
Student makers Dilan Mehta, Rohan Nagale, Atharva Naik, and Anthony Tan led the campaign to design, 3D-print, assemble, and donate 150 toy airplane kits to an orphanage and school in Migori, Kenya called Kenya Relief Academy. Additionally, Student Makers sent the school a 3D printer, adding STEM education to the classroom. 3D printing experts Dilan Mehta, Rohan Nagale, Aidan Piper, and Pradyota Phaneesh met online with its computer lab teachers to equip them with the skills and curriculum necessary to integrate 3D printing and design into their lessons.
